INTEGRITY . FAIRNESS . LEADERSHIP
Judge Randall J. Slieter
On October 5, 2018, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton selected me to serve on the Minnesota Court of Appeals. I began that role on December 3, 2018. Previously, I was appointed to the Trial Court Bench in 1994 and since that time I have been the sole chambered Judge in Renville County. I presided over all civil, criminal and family matters that came before the Court. I’ve also presided over complex civil litigation matters as well as jury trials. The attorneys before whom I preside have shared their belief that I officiate with fairness, a deep sense of justice as well as a high level of legal knowledge.
I am committed to my community through participation in many activities and have been involved in leadership positions both locally and statewide. I look forward to continuing the community involvement while serving on the Court of Appeals.
